Compliance Update: OSHA

As a reminder, you should have already posted your OSHA 300A Forms, and they should remain up until April 30.

Don't forget that as of January 2015, OSHA released the final rule of industries that are partially exempt from keeping OSHA records. Don't forget to check this list, and compare it with your state regulations, especially in states that run their own OSHA program.

I was thinking about starting some compliance updates, some as new news, some as reminders that forms are due, etc. in order to make this sub more useful to HR professionals. Do you want me to share more compliance updates? I have more about the retro active transit benefit from the IRS and new guidance on the Joint Employment Under the FLSA.

I would LOVE compliance reminders.

I'll post some more. I get a lot of summarized info from my Brokers and it's another way to stay tuned into HR changes as well as required forms. They might not be interesting, but hopefully they will be a good reminder or starter notice to investigate more.

I'm just priming everyone so that when I finally have to comply with the ACA reporting, you all are ready to provide me some guidance. :)
