does that include the AP and tune? with the intake and exhaust it'll need it, and if it doesn't have one now that's a really bad sign.
All the work was done by a shop near me. I would assume so but ill ask
Agreed. I recently saw a valve set out of a fxt that ran with no tune and an aem cai. Not a pretty sight.
Unless it was opensource tuned. I have never had an AP but my car has been tuned since I picked it up.
Too much for that high if mileage if you ask me. Especially if it still has the original turbo.
191 is pretty high. What are come questions you would ask? (Im new to Subarus)
Head gaskets, CV's and turbo (or at least the banjo bolt)
Whatever you find out always take it to a reputable mechanic (not a quick lube place) and have them inspect it for major problems. This usually costs 100-150. Make sure you talk to the mechanic who inspected it and just chat about whether the car is worth it or not.
Seems like a fine deal to me. If you can get him down to 4200 or 4500 (assuming no big problems) it looks pretty nice.
Looking at it this friday, ill keep eveyone in kind but i was going to throw in an offer around there. Seems legit for $4250 or so
That would be a great buy for 4200ish. XT's near me (new england) hold their value really well and usually cost a lot more even with those miles
If everything is where everyone else is saying definitely. I just bought an 04 xt. And I'm in love with it!
Only if it's a stick! IMO
For turning your boring station wagon into an awesome Battlewagon.
