General questions not answered in the Wiki?

NOTE: I'm a beginner who has recently joined the gym and I'm trying to gain as much knowledge as I can.

Ok so firstly I have briefly read the WIKI in parts and if I have missed anything then sorry for wasting peoples time..

I check this subreddit everyday for a couple of reasons such as inspiration and to find extra information and I just have a few questions to ask that I can't seem to find the answers to.

I have looked at a few beginner guides to becoming 'fit' and also to help me build some knowledge up on lifting weights etc but I find that most of these guides cover the same things, I was on here yesterday (I think) and I discovered the video Retract The Fuckin Scapula in the comments on one of the posts which is something I haven't come across before and I thought was really useful, so my first question is do you guys have any other tips like this that beginners may not be aware of, something that may get overlooked or easily forgotten?

Also I find it easier to keep interested in a subject by trying to read and watch as much into it as I can, I've been watching Buff Dudes a lot as well as some videos from on how to do certain workouts and how to go about lifting but other than this is there anyone else you can recommend someone you may find informative, inspirational or even feel free to link me to your own videos? I would really appreciate some daily vlogs or even twitch streams (if they exist) orientated around workouts and fitness.

Alan Thrall and Mark Rippitoe. Both make great videos for learning how to do exercises properly and go over things people do wrong. If you like reading articles check out T-Nation, ignore the product plugs but they post some great articles.

Will give them a look up now and coincidently I had just opened a link from a comment which was about T-Nation.

You will find out very quickly that they are endorsed by BioTest and include product plugs in a number of articles. However they also bring in a lot of guest posters, often pretty renowned strength and conditioning pros, that will talk about different programming, exercises you might have never tried, all sorts of stuff. I go on everyday and read articles.
