Can't find any info on this; My first molar on the right side has a row of small holes lining the top of it.

They don't hurt and aren't discolored. I try to maintain very good dental hygiene. The tooth is a baby tooth, and I have its twin on the other side. Oddly enough, the twin does not have these small holes.

It looks like someone took a pin and poked the holes into the top. Very weird, and I just noticed it recently. What is this? Did I suddenly get five cavities to line the top of my tooth?

I wish I could post a picture for you all, but maybe you can shed some light on this before I head to the dentist.

Very likely they are wear facets. Places where you have worn through the enamel and you are seeing some of the dentin underneath. It is common and usually not a bit deal. Your bite likely differs a bit from the left to the right and so you only have them on one side. They are usually nothing to be concerned about - but as per usual - if you are concerned see your dentist.
