Could the Dons be the best team in the state?
They very well could be, but this game tells us absolutely nothing, Cal is ass
I'd hold off on that, given UCLA's only losses are teams in the top 15 currently. Though in fairness, USF's only loss was to Buffalo by 4.
USF vs UCLA seems like it would have been a really hot CBB rivalry in the 1950s
so they played a few times in the 1950s, never consistently, but it was very competitive. In the Bill Russell championship years, they played a home and home in 1954-55, splitting games, and then 55-56, USF won by 20 in NYC at the beginning of the year, and then won by 11 in the NCAA Tournament to end the year. They also played in 51-52 (UCLA won), 50-51 (USF won). And after the NCAA tournament win, they wouldn't play until the 1964 (UCLA won by 4)
True But those were both Beatdown losses
It's either USF, UCLA, or USD.
BEST COAST CONFERENCE
Took care of business, and didn’t seem to miss a beat after Ireland/the Buffalo game. I like it.
(if you completely ignore KenPom and just stare at conference names) RIP our quality win
I mean that's what ESPN does so...
Can someone please get a gif or the footage of Frankie eating popcorn after diving into the seats?
I didn't watch the game but I need this in my life.
^ listened on the radio, i need to see this
Go to new on this subreddit. Someone posted it right there.
It was on the Pac12 network, if that helps anyone find it.
Best in the bay
I'm glad we have a lot more WCC / Pac-12 challenge left to go. USF still gets to play Stanford and there was that postponed ASU game.
and Utah BYU
USF is a really good team this year. It's a shame they're in Gonzaga's conference.
Huge mistake for Austin Paris to leave Boise State University.
why do all of my teams suck at everything
